Several years ago just after Seran Bond had completed our first website I asked her how long it would take to establish a presence on Google. Cautiously she replied, “It could take approximately 3 months”. Yet two weeks later we were in the top ten listings. Thereafter we continued to enjoy a high hit ratio and from experience we have found, that if a website is constructed correctly, it rapidly becomes one of the best forms of advertising as it operates 24/7.
Recently having changed our suppliers we re-commissioned Seran to work on a new website. This did take longer to create than our original website, as obviously we had moved the goal posts, and had very high expectations from IceStar Media. After lots of ‘tweaking’ and minor changes from a very patient Seran, our website finally went live on the Friday. Again, when questioned, she said, "That in spite of our previous success it could still take many weeks before we were likely to experience any presence on Google". Imagine my delight when on the following Monday evening a very excited Seran called me to inform me that we had gone ‘Number One’ on Google in just 3 days. Considering that we had not paid a penny for the privilege this is totally unheard of!
