IT Consultancy

IT Consultancy

We provide sound and impartial IT consultancy services to enable your business to review existing systems and implement new and improved IT solutions, software and security measures.

With no hidden costs we will assist you at every stage to review and plan your IT strategy so that your business not only keeps up to date with current trends but isn’t missing an opportunity to get one step ahead of the ever-changing and fast-paced nature of the IT industry.

This process takes time as it can affect nearly every department and member of staff in some way and that’s where we fit in, with years of expertise working with IT systems and businesses of different sizes we will work with you from the bottom up to review your current systems (IT audit), organise workshops with key personnel to understand how they use these systems, identify usability issues, bottlenecks and process improvements. This information will then be used to compile a report and used as the basis for research and recommend viable alternatives, outlining costs clearly and comprehensively in terms of purchase and set-up prices and on-going license fees.

However, some projects require multiple consultations with third-party companies or service providers, video calls or conference calls in order to progress them. In these cases where our time is required we charge our standard rate of £45.00 + VAT per hour.

Case Studies

We carried out extensive software and hardware systems analysis of all internal IT systems, infrastructure and processes for one of the UK’s leading wastewater management organisations.

The scope of the project included working with individual departments to ascertain existing systems processes and requirements, research of business-critical software applications, the production of several detailed reports including recommendations, cost-benefit analysis that saved the overall project £68,000, negotiation with senior directors, the project team, the company’s existing technical support contractor and third-party software vendors to ensure the project remained within budget and business constraints.

Having re-designed the website for Hertfordshire based Aston St Mary’s Primary School, we were contacted once more by the Headteacher to review the school’s IT systems and infrastructure. We carried out a full IT review of the school’s existing hardware and software systems, including printers, projectors, iPads, laptops, educational software, back-up processes and server security.

During the initial audit, we spoke to various school staff and Committee members to discuss limitations and user issues with current IT systems and have since taken over the monthly IT support for the school.
