Project: IT Audit and IT Consultancy
Nature of work: Internal software and hardware systems analysis
Client: Alpheus Environmental
We carried out extensive software and hardware systems analysis of all internal IT systems, infrastructure and processes for one of the UK’s leading wastewater management organisations.
The scope of the project included working with individual departments to ascertain existing systems processes and requirements, research of business-critical software applications, the production of several detailed reports including recommendations, cost-benefit analysis that saved the overall project £68,000, negotiation with senior directors, the project team, the company’s existing technical support contractor and third-party software vendors to ensure the project remained within budget and business constraints.
“Mark's skills, knowledge and understanding in the role of IT Manager were second to none. His great ability was to understand and develop the user requirement and respond to it, providing timely, no fuss, within budget solutions. He was sorely missed when he left the role!”
