Project Brief: Website & content management
Having had a meeting with Headteacher Mrs. Julie Winwood, the Vice Chair of School Governors, and the school’s ICT Manager we discussed all of the requirements for a new website with the ultimate aim being the development of a website system that would not only be a useful resource for parents to find out what’s happening at school and in various classes but also for prospective parents to access information quickly from any device and enable school staff to update web pages and upload school events, newsletters, policy documents etc. with ease. The school’s website content manager highlighted how the previous page editing interface was frustrating to use and made it difficult to upload media files such as images, photos, PDF file,s and video clips.

The website includes a comprehensive amount of curriculum information and enrichment activities in various formats including video, some of which with added security to only permit parents with a dedicated password to view.
The school is rated OFSTED outstanding and together with the school management team we work closely to ensure that all website details, school policies and information are kept up to date regularly.
